A selected sketch model was selected and then manipulated at various scales with people and human dimension added. The model I selected was based on symmetry and ugliness, with the ugliness represented by a jagged hole bursting through the symmetry. Four of the photos were then composed on an A1 sheet with the title relating to 'dynamic composition'. A photograph of the composition entitled 'burst' is attached. The photos at different sizes are arranged to leave a jagged hole in the centre and black spaces bursting outside the frame.

Another task was to quickly produce eight thumbnail sketches in different media.

These had to be perspective sketches at eye level incorporating people. The attched sketches were done in:

1. Sharpie felt tip
2. Pencil
3. Coloured pencil
4. Ball point
5. Watercolour pencil
6. Chattahoochee silicon pencil
7. Triplus fine liner
8. Triplus colour felt tips

Task 2 was to quickly create a series of sketch models out of paper and tape according to various criteria. This tracing is of a photo of a model built according to the criteria Symmetry and ugliness. The model had to only touch the ground on edges. The model has symmetry on two perpendiculer axes. The ugliness is represented by a bullet or shell hole tearing through the centre of the model. The model has contact with the ground on the four points of its legs.
